This Privacy Policy describes how ShyCuts, operated by David Alejandro Mayen Garcia (Small Taxpayer), collects, uses, stores and protects the personal information of users of the ShyCuts mobile app and the website shycuts.com.

• Ubicación precisa (cuando el usuario lo autoriza) para mostrar Barberos cercanos. Se consulta únicamente cuando el usuario interactúa con funcionalidades que la requieren. Precise location (when authorized by the user) to show nearby Barbers. It is only queried when the user interacts with features that require it.
• Token de notificaciones push (FCM) y plataforma del dispositivo (Android o iOS) — para enviarte notificaciones sobre tus citas y mensajes. Push notification token (FCM) and device platform (Android or iOS) — to send you notifications about your appointments and messages.
• Dirección IP — registrada únicamente al iniciar sesión y al renovar la sesión, con fines de seguridad y prevención de fraude (detección de accesos sospechosos). No se utiliza para perfilado ni publicidad. IP address — recorded only at sign-in and session renewal, for security and fraud prevention purposes (detection of suspicious access). It is not used for profiling or advertising.

4. Almacenamiento y Seguridad4. Storage and Security

La información personal se almacena en servidores seguros con medidas de protección técnicas y organizativas. Las fotografías de portfolio se almacenan en Google Cloud Storage. Personal information is stored on secure servers with technical and organizational protection measures. Portfolio photographs are stored in Google Cloud Storage.

Los datos de sesión se almacenan de forma segura en el dispositivo mediante almacenamiento cifrado. Las preferencias (como idioma) se almacenan localmente. Session data is stored securely on the device using encrypted storage. Preferences (such as language) are stored locally.

El historial de conversaciones del chat se almacena de forma permanente porque cada mensaje también constituye dato del otro participante de la conversación. ShyCuts puede auditar este historial para verificar el cumplimiento de los Términos y resolver disputas. Chat conversation history is stored permanently because each message also constitutes data of the other participant in the conversation. ShyCuts may audit this history to verify compliance with the Terms and resolve disputes.

ShyCuts NO vende, alquila ni comercializa la información personal de sus usuarios. ShyCuts does NOT sell, rent or commercialize its users' personal information.

Entre Cliente y BarberoBetween Client and Barber

Al agendar una cita, el Barbero recibe el nombre del Cliente y la dirección del servicio. El Cliente puede ver el perfil público del Barbero. NO se comparte número de teléfono, correo electrónico ni otra información de contacto personal. When booking an appointment, the Barber receives the Client's name and the service address. The Client can see the Barber's public profile. Phone number, email or other personal contact information is NOT shared.

Procesador de pagosPayment processor

Compartimos la información necesaria con Tilopay para procesar transacciones de forma segura. We share the information necessary with Tilopay to process transactions securely.

Proveedores de serviciosService providers

Utilizamos los siguientes servicios de terceros para funcionalidades técnicas. Estos proveedores acceden únicamente a la información mínima necesaria para prestar el servicio contratado, bajo nuestras instrucciones, y están sujetos a sus propias políticas de privacidad. We use the following third-party services for technical functionalities. These providers access only the minimum information necessary to provide the contracted service, under our instructions, and are subject to their own privacy policies.

• Google Cloud Storage — almacenamiento de fotografías (foto de perfil, portafolio del barbero, fotos de verificación de identidad). Google Cloud Storage — photo storage (profile photo, barber portfolio, identity verification photos).
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — envío de notificaciones push a tu dispositivo. Recibe únicamente el token de notificación; no recibe el contenido de tus citas, mensajes ni información de pago. It only receives the notification token; it does not receive the content of your appointments, messages or payment information.
• Mapbox — visualización de mapas y cálculo de distancias entre cliente y barbero. Recibe tu ubicación únicamente cuando el mapa está visible. Mapbox — map visualization and distance calculation between client and barber. It only receives your location when the map is visible.
• Tilopay — procesamiento de pagos (ver sección dedicada). Tilopay — payment processing (see dedicated section).

6. Ubicación6. Location

La App solicita permiso de ubicación para mostrar Barberos cercanos y facilitar la navegación. El permiso es solicitado explícitamente y puede ser revocado en cualquier momento desde la configuración del dispositivo. The App requests location permission to show nearby Barbers and facilitate navigation. Permission is requested explicitly and can be revoked at any time from the device's settings.

No rastreamos la ubicación de forma continua ni en segundo plano. Se consulta únicamente cuando el usuario interactúa con funcionalidades que la requieren. We do not track location continuously or in the background. It is only queried when the user interacts with features that require it.

Al eliminar su cuentaWhen deleting your account

• Si eliminas la cuenta desde la app: tus datos personales se eliminan de inmediato (proceso síncrono, sin demoras). If you delete your account from the app: your personal data is deleted immediately (synchronous process, with no delays).
• Si solicitas la eliminación por correo: procesamos la solicitud en un máximo de 14 días hábiles. If you request deletion by email: we process the request within a maximum of 14 business days.
• El historial de transacciones (citas, pagos, ganancias) se conservará hasta 5 años conforme al Código de Comercio de Guatemala (Decreto 2-70, Artículo 382), asociado a un perfil anonimizado sin información personal identificable. Transaction history (appointments, payments, earnings) will be kept for up to 5 years in accordance with the Guatemalan Commercial Code (Decree 2-70, Article 382), associated with an anonymized profile without personally identifiable information.
• Las conversaciones del chat permanecen visibles para el otro participante, ya que también constituyen datos suyos. Tu nombre aparecerá como "Usuario eliminado" sin información de contacto. Chat conversations remain visible to the other participant, as they also constitute their data. Your name will appear as "Deleted user" without contact information.

La Plataforma no está dirigida a menores de 18 años. No recopilamos intencionalmente información de menores. Los servicios pueden ser solicitados para menores únicamente por su padre, madre o tutor legal. The Platform is not directed at persons under 18 years old. We do not intentionally collect information from minors. Services may be requested for minors only by their parent or legal guardian.

10. Retención de Datos10. Data Retention

Conservamos la información mientras la cuenta esté activa. Tras la eliminación: We retain information while the account is active. After deletion:

• Datos personales: se eliminan de inmediato (eliminación desde la app) o en hasta 14 días hábiles (solicitud vía correo). Personal data: deleted immediately (deletion from the app) or within up to 14 business days (request via email).
• Datos de transacciones (citas, pagos, ganancias): se conservan hasta 5 años conforme al Código de Comercio de Guatemala (Decreto 2-70, Artículo 382). Transaction data (appointments, payments, earnings): kept for up to 5 years in accordance with the Guatemalan Commercial Code (Decree 2-70, Article 382).
• Datos completamente anonimizados pueden conservarse indefinidamente con fines estadísticos. Fully anonymized data may be kept indefinitely for statistical purposes.

11. Transferencias Internacionales11. International Transfers

La información puede ser almacenada en servidores ubicados fuera de Guatemala (donde operan nuestros proveedores de servicios en la nube). Al utilizar la Plataforma, usted consiente estas transferencias, sujetas a las medidas de seguridad descritas en esta Política. Information may be stored on servers located outside Guatemala (where our cloud service providers operate). By using the Platform, you consent to these transfers, subject to the security measures described in this Policy.

12. Cambios a esta Política12. Changes to this Policy

ShyCuts se reserva el derecho de modificar esta Política en cualquier momento. Los cambios significativos serán notificados a través de la App y/o por correo electrónico. El uso continuado constituye aceptación. ShyCuts reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Significant changes will be notified through the App and/or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
